Braid Tutorial Thingy

This is for aliax_alexandre! (Of course I'll be happy if it's also useful for someone else.) So, uh, this is a step-by-step tutorial how I draw braids, using only black and white ink on brown paper. Basically, this is how it goes:



1) Draw a zigzag line
2) Elongate the ends of that line
3) Draw the general shape of the braid
4) Add some shading
5) Add some general untidiness
6) Add highlights

This is neat! And "add some general untidiness" may be good advice for many things... :D

Heh, the "add some general untidiness" should probably not be applied to program code... But otherwise, the concept works remarkably well. In art, viewers will always mistake general untidiness for detail. XD
