Advent calendar update. SCRUNCHIES.
Dec. 10th, 2020 01:15 pmI thought I'd give an update of cheerful things! :)
I've already mentioned how serenity025 made me this super-nice advent calendar, and I've shown the awesome Dev ATC, but I still need to show all the other lovely things! :D She didn't just buy me art stuff (although there is a fair share of it in the calendar) but actually made me things. Like, she has figured out how to make scrunchies, so I'm getting scrunchies in all colors, which is of course all kinds of awesome! And she made me a scarf, too! :D
Many, many pictures, so they're behind the cut.

That's a purple satin scrunchie. Also, a masking marker with masking fluid for watercoloring, which is very nice! I already had that one but it's almost empty, so it's great to have one in reserve.

Dark green velvet scrunchie.

Several lovely things!
- Watercolor sketchbook (with really nice paper)
- Selfmade sketchbook (yes, she bound that one for me!) with pages in rainbow colors YAY
- Watercolor "Galaxy Pink" by Schmincke. This is a supergranulating color with awesome effect!
- INCHIE! With an amethyst! SO CUTE!!!

A close-up of the amethyst inchie. It actually sparkles! :D

Oh, and this is the lovely handmade sketchbook! Pages in all colors! And it's artist-grade paper (Canson Mi-Teintes), too, so I won't have to worry about the colors fading or anything! :D This is super awesome.

My new scarf. :D It's actually a loop, with one side black and the other white with a black floral pattern. (A note for topologists: It really has two sides, because it's looped twice.)

A sketchbook with brown paper (I love these things), and... Surprise... A SCRUNCHIE. :D (I love these things, too, so I won't complain about obsessive scrunchie-sewing or anything.)

And these are a face mask (milk and honey, yay, one of my favorite scents!) and... SCRUNCHIE! Bright red, embroidered fabric. YAY!
(In some of these pictures, tea and chocolate are already missing. That's because they tend to disappear incredibly fast when I'm around.)
As you can easily see, my style for 2021 is scrunchies, clearly.December isn't over yet, so, many more scrunchies to come, I guess. I mean, I do wear these things on a daily basis, so I celebrate each and every one of them. This is great. :D

Date: 2020-12-10 03:15 pm (UTC)...the only disadvantage of these handmade ones is that I'll actually feel bad if I lose one or when the elastic bands inside wear out. (I'll have to figure out how to replace them when the time comes.) The calendar is simply awesome. :D
