Inktober is nice and all but I thought I'd post something with a bit more color in between. :) Here I had a lot of fun with green as a contrasting accent, LOL. I'm actually very happy how this turned out.

In case you're wondering about the sprinkly texture: that's not real airbrush, it's small perfume spray bottles filled with color.

Oh, how gorgeous! I adore maples and you've really captured how they look.

Unfortunately, it's not like the maples look here, right now - it's been raining for the last week or so, and the leaves all turned muddy brown, not the red-gold of the ideal world. But moldy brown leaves don't make such a nice subject for paintings...

Thank you! :) I happen to like "effects" in my watercolors so I sometimes use non-traditional techniques... The spray bottles have moved themselves into my standard repertoire and I even sometimes use a bristle paintbrush and my thumb for extra sprinkle.
