Here, my main goal was to portray slightly corroded metal and the reflections on its surface. (Painting corroded metal is a lot more fun than proofreading a scientific paper about it!) Anyway, this is my parents' nutcracker, with some hazelnuts.

Nice greys and great lost edges on the inner side of the nutcracker .... tongs? The inner edge of the cracky part ;.)
