Wings! Koh with selfmade watercolors.

I saw the prompt "wings" on the drawesome bingo card and couldn't resist!



This is Koh again, my favorite demon. And of course he's carrying a random cat! (For an explanation why Koh pictures always have some cat content, see here.

And of course I used my new selfmade watercolors. Night Glob was joined by two more globs of goo I'm very optimistically calling "artisan watercolors". So now there's also Day Glob (a warm orange-brown with some sparkle) and Forest Glob (a yellowish olive green with some sparkle).



Surprisingly, the colors actually work. Somewhat. I had designed Day Glob to be the more-or-less-complementary color to Night Glob, and they really play together nicely. So I guess this is my new sketching set... With maybe an additional sparkly rose red to set off that Forest Glob?

I am so tempted to someday made really terrible homemade watercolors myself, only I don't have any terrible honey to use up. XD

Aw, thanks! Replace "Glob" by "Glow" and you'd get normal color names... But I'm honest about my colors. XD

Awwww kitty! It‘s great how dark the night glob colour actually gets. I‘d be interested to hear how well the colours hold up over time, e.g. are they sensitive to sunlight?

I'd have to test that, but theoretically the pigments I used should be quite lightfast - I did pay attention to that...

I love how the wings take up so much space- for this prompt it's perfect!Aww,he's cuddling a cat,that's super cute because you wouldn't expect that from a demon(I haven't seen other drawings of him yet,that's why I say this.:D)

The watercolors are weird and whimsical, which makes them pretty much useless for serious painting but perfect for a project like this! XD

...this demon is super-cute! Not least because I started the story/project when I was, like, twelve. Koh is one of my oldest OCs, and one of the (anti-)heroes, not a bad guy. He definitely cuddles cats.
