Scilla

I almost never use blue... Except today I did. This ATC shows a typical spring flower that's everywhere these days: Scilla, sometimes in German also called 'Blaustern' (blue star). It also happens to be one of my mother's favorite flowers. :) I had a lot of fun with the composition.

Heh.

There are some in Kew Gardens. (There is almost everything in Kew Gardens. It's a big botanical garden with a mission and they know not when to stop). And it used to be that a horde of gardeners were valiantly fighting the squills from taking over the world.
Then one year they slipped.
And now, at the right point of the year, Kew gets taken over by squills.
