Fanart. Because, hey, I like ballet. (I quit dancing because it turned out I love chess that crucial bit more, but that doesn't mean I quit watching...)



This is again a papercut postcard, though it's not sent to anyone yet. Was intended for Postcrossing, but... I like it a bit too much to send it to a random stranger. (I guess I'm just not nice enough. I've sent original papercuts, but only much simpler ones.) I may get prints of this one, though. It's a design that I enjoy.

I am, of course, even more into the choreography than into the music - but, yeah. There's a reason even people who don't regularly go to the ballet know this one. XD

:D My favorite production that I attended in person was an ultra-traditional production by a Russian troupe who was touring in Boston. Joe has zero interest in ballet, but a friend of mine who had never been to the ballet and wanted to try it went with me, so he and I had a good time. :)

...whereas I, of course, am a regular visitor of the Staatsoper Hamburg. I remember being very impressed as a little girl. (Also, I remember all the angry looks a little kid in the audience gets - but hey, Baby!Eller was professionally interested, LOL)
