The Chess Advent Calendar

ellerThis year's Advent calendar was made by Semja for me, and it's AWESOME! Chess all the way! :D
The packaging already follows the chess theme...
...and the content continues with chess! (There's other stuff inside as well, and I'm looking forward to seeing everything, but this post is about the chess, so...)
Yes, that's a self-made chessboard, she modelled that... And there's pieces as well! So far, I've received two very cute pawns...
...and a bishop, with more pieces to follow.
I'm looking forward to collecting them all! :D And, after Christmas, to play on this lovely board!
I always admire when people are good at working with clay and/or modelling paste - it's one of the techniques I've tried, more than once, to no avail. Lucky for me that Semja has this skill!
