The cover is ready!
So, I painted the cover of my new watercolor box! :D I received two awesome suggestions and decided to sort-of-combine them: it was ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
castiron's idea to draw a greenhouse with metal parts to match the silver theme of the, well, duct tape. XD And yhlee asked me to draw a field of flowers that uses all the colors in the box... Well, at the time of that post, I had already begun to sketch the greenhouse, but, ALL THE COLORS? Can do! :D
I did the sketch with my new acrylic pens in black and white...
...and used ALL THE WATERCOLORS, as well as two different silver pens. One of them (Papermania Fluid Metallic Brush Marker) is one of the nasty silver pens that are really mostly dark grey with a tiny bit of shimmer if you squint. The other one (Ohuhu Gel Ink Pen) is a beautiful, shiny silver. So, I was able to do some actual shading on the glittery parts, isn't that fun? XD Of course, nothing of that is visible in the scan.
